December31, 2011
Spent the day at SM. And yes, with the entire family in tow. =) It's always more fun with the family. =)
So to commemorate the end of 2011, we ate at a restaurant we've never tried before (again, another tradition..or more like a "thing" we have were we try out new places in town...or at least new places to us^^). This time, it's Krua Thai. =) Absolutely loved it there! Yummy food. Great ambiance. Great service. Oh, and a very awesome lighting for picture taking! Hah! Perfect end-of-the-year dinner, right? Right. =)
First-timers go through the menu...
The awe-bloody-some food!
Some light-hearted talking, goofing around, picture-taking in-between...
And then there were the "here-comes-the-smolder" looks (for those who don't know, it's a facial expression from "Tangled")..*bro's look was the closest.. ours was simply outrageous! haha*
Aaaaand, the epic fails. =D
January 1, 2012
To welcome 2012, our theme was RED. A happy color, a warm color, a welcoming color, a loving color. =) Four of the things we want the most out of this year. =)
To start the celebration off, we headed for the mall (coz we weren't sure at first where to eat. haha) and walked around a bit.
I introduced my mum, for the first time, to frozen yoghurt. =D
And then, as was my suggestion (and my Mum's long-been obsession), we finally decided to have dinner at Chosun Galbi Korean Restaurant. =D Mum has always been fond of korean dramas so I presumed she'd have the same reaction to korean food. Dad was always up for anything vegetable-y. Sis and Bro were adventurous when they want to be. And I absolutely adore Korean food. So to Chosun Galbi it was! =D
After some seriously addicting bulgogi, sangyupsal, bibimbab and others, and after some mean how-to-use-chopsticks session for Mum, and after some more "here-comes-the-smolder" faces, we finally decided to leave for Church. =D It's always better to start the year right. Start it with the Lord. =)
After mass (I failed to take pictures coz too much talking was done), we headed straight home for another bout of family vanity. =D
Took pictures at the tree (which was made all by Mum's effort)...
And took some more pictures, this time as a family! =)
Hard to believe the poses of the pictures that follow were suggested by Dad himself. =) Yep yep yep! Daddy was the "pose-master" this time. =D
Of course, who can forget the yummy Red Velvet cake I bought for the family? =) Sweet New Year, dont'cha think? =)
And now as 2012 continues to move on, as days roll by, as time keeps ticking, I bid 2012 a happy hello! =) May God shower us all with blessings only He can provide! And may the year bring us happiness that cannot be paid. <3
Cheers to 2012! <3
xoxo
